Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Medium

Information: Hey guys! It’s me again. Something strange happened while I was out picnicking with a friend. Seems this little guy followed me back to my ship. I don’t know why, but it just did. And rather aggressively too, I might add.

I looked it up, and it appears to be very territorial. I guess our picnic was in the middle of its nest or something. I’m just glad it didn’t decide to make me its lunch, you know what I mean? My buddy said that if they don’t attack you, then you must be an alright kind of guy. His culture believes that these creatures can sense if a person is good or bad, which is why they have such a low crime rate in their part of their empire. Thieves and criminals are often their own victims, so efforts have been put in place to breed this creature and import them to other planets in their empire.

Sounds interesting, huh? Nature’s own judge, jury, and executioner!

Until next time!

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Medium
Culture: Aggressive, Economic
Galactic Class: Pirate/Warrior
Information: A race of pirate mercenaries who will take just about any mission if the price is right for them. Job pricing seems to be based on individual preferences and pride. To get the best bargain, one would have to offer a job to a group of these fighters and have them bid for it. They jump at any opportunity to blow something up, be it something as small as a single ship or as large as a planet.

They also know how to keep a secret. If their employer wants nobody to find out about their job, this race will go to extreme levels to make sure that secret dies with them. Many individuals have undergone torture endurance training and make it a point to announce this should the subject be brought up.

Their pride is often their fatal flaw. It isn’t too uncommon for one or a group of these warriors to take on a mission far bigger than what they can handle. They often demand their money up front, so any mission they fail to complete often hurts the employer.

Rogue Rouge

Vehicle Type: Air
Class: M
Armor: 15%
Threat Level: 39%
Speed: 46%
Information: A pirate ship piloted by the vicious Captain Tatuliaa. She uses this ship to make quick strikes upon air ships transporting rare and precious gems on her home planet. However, once every several months, she will just go on a mad killing spree and attack the first thing she sees. This ship is her signature.

The ship itself is designed with speed in mind. Rumor has it that during the aerodynamic tests, it was able to slice the air on a molecular level which gave it an air velocity unmatched by any craft before its time. It was originally to be a racing craft, but Tatuliaa stole it and modified it for her own selfish gains.

Vehicle Type: Space
Information: This is the space ship to a race of galactic watchers. Their mission is to observe the history of the universe as it occurs. However, this race also has psychic powers that have been infused with this ship. The result is a time-traveling space ship that can psychically travel to any point in history. Occupants of the craft are unable to interact with the timeline, as catastrophic accidents have happened in the past from trying to physically interact with what is ultimately a psychic vision. The results of this accident are so complex that they are best not explained.

Information: A three-tier blimp that sits two. Three if you include the pilot. It’s a ship designed for a pleasure air cruise, mostly for tourists that want a romantic and unique night to remember. Supposedly, they charge by the hour, not including the time it takes to take off and land. However, the route is zoned only the area its hanger leaving the vista something to be desired some times.

It should be noted that the information on the various technology used in this craft have been kept secret by the race that designed this for economic reasons.

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Low (Pack x5)
Social Ability: Low
Information: A creature that is almost all mouth. Yet another scavenger that travels the world in a group to aggressively fight over corpses. Their teeth are needle shaped and are able to rip through flesh and fur with surgical accuracy. Their metabolism is rather high, forcing them to constantly eat with very little time to do anything else.

Incidentally, this creature is so small, it’s possible for the average Earth human to kill one by stepping on it.

Diet: Herbivore
Danger Level: Low
Social Ability: Medium
Information: This strange creature lives in deep caves that are illuminated by bioluminescent minerals. It behaves like a primate in that it uses tools and form social groups with each other. It also practice social grooming and recognizes complicated concepts like death and compassion.

Its six eyes are believed to be able to see through time by local tribes. The top pair sees the future, the middle pair sees the present, and the lower pair sees the past. It is believed that it knows the effect of every action and reaction it has made and will made, which has resulted in a long history of peaceful living with nature. Tribes that believe in this try to model their culture after this creature in order to find harmony and balance.

Information: This tribal race fears technology and most forms of capital economy. It is believed that these advancements are the source of corruption, and it is best to avoid them as long as possible. To this date, they have endured and avoided these forms of corruption for ten millennia. During this time, they have developed a culture built on creativity and the arts.

To simplify their culture into terms we can understand, they are very similar to a socialist culture in that everything produced by the tribe is shared among the tribe equally.

Galactic Class: Warrior
Information: Self-righteous and egotistical, this race is essentially hated by nearly every race it comes across. Those that do not know about how brutish this race is often find out the hard way. Those that agree with the point of view of this race often find themselves attacked by its enemies.

The ironic twist on the situation is that this race is surprisingly very creative in producing weapons for offensive and defensive purposes. They also found a way to design military buildings that are aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and not just simple concrete buildings built for function. Their planets are also lush with life, and they care for every living thing within its empire. All these positive qualities, however, are overshadowed by its ugly behavior towards others.

Diet: Herbivore
Danger Level: Low
Social Ability: Medium
Culture: Industrious, Economic
Galactic Class: Engineer/Trader
Information: This race is often sought out due to its advance software programming abilities. They seem to advance their efforts at a break-neck speed and show no sign of slowing down the progress. More often than not, their programs are obsolete the moment they are published. They have a high percentage of producing bug-free software with a compatibility rating that has never been matched by any technology-based race. They are also a master of being able to diagnose and correct software issues from other races within a matter of hours.

However, they have a very strict moral code they all follow with this vast knowledge of technology. The main codex for them is to never maliciously compromise another race’s software for any reason, even during times of war. While they are capably of crippling their enemies’ technology from the inside, they view it as an unfair advantage.

Information: This race is obsessed with giant battle robots, though it is strictly for entertainment purposes. Pilots of these war machines are often treated as celebrities and are rewarded with large sums of money and fame. However, in recent history of this race’s culture, several members have decided to go rogue and use the battle robots for aggressive piracy. While most models are incapable of space walks, those that have modified their units for space often benefit from their unusual designs.

In reaction to this, several military races are developing measures to counter these groups. On this race’s home planet, stricter laws have been placed involved battle robots including a registration and identification act that requires all participants and owners to submit a verified alibi for their machines every hour via a wireless GPS chip. These chips are hardwired into every part of the robot, making this the most expensive government act in the known universe.

Information: A small mammal that has developed a natural immunity to a large variety to airborne poisons. It developed this ability due to its diet exclusively made up out of a large variety of toxic mushrooms. Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Medium
Information: A very alien but familiar creature. Its behavior is very similar to that of tropical cave bats in that it is nocturnal and will fly in and out of caves in mass at sunset and sun raise. The biggest difference is that it eats meat. Its hunting tactic is based on annoying larger predators at the risk to its own life. Once the predator makes a kill, a large swarm of these creatures would descend upon the kill. Half of the swarm will attempt to take chunks of flesh from the kill, while the other half will try to annoy the predator to the point of leaving the scene.

Information: The entertainer of the natural world. It likes to perform silly dances as a way to distract predators and evading the more aggressive creatures it encounters. Attempts have been made to domesticate these creatures, but there have been no successful result. Domesticated creatures tend to become depressed and lethargic to the point where their general health becomes a major concern. The popular theory is that this creature’s creative mentality is linked to its idea of freedom, and a domestic setting doesn’t encourage or grow this side of the creature. This theory suggests that the creature is very intelligent, though its actual brain capacity has not been measured.

Jabi

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: High
Social Ability: Low
Information: A very lethal poisonous ant. Once bit, the victim undergoes three very difficult stages of system failures before resulting in death.

The first system to be attacked is the digestive system. The venom stops all digestive functions in the small intestines of the victim resulting in blockage and waste build-up. During this phase, one can still be cured with anti-venom. Most cures are administered within two hours of the bite.

The second system to be attacked is the nervous system. While the waste continued to build up in the victim, another part of the venom would attack the closest nerve ending to the bite area. From there, it will evenly spread throughout the body. Bites close to the neck seem to have greater difficulty spreading compared to those at the tips of fingers and toes. The end result is a numbing sensation that would prevent movement of major muscular organs, including but not limited to the heart and lungs.

The final system to be attack is the circulatory system. With the paralyzed nervous system and failed digestive system, the venom then causes blood flow to slow to a stop. Its unknown if this is part of the venom’s attack pattern or if it is the result of the attack on the nervous system.

The entire three-prong attack takes only twenty-four Earth hours to complete.

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Low
Social Ability: Medium
Information: A small, flightless, nocturnal bird said to be the source of nightly light shows in jungles along game trail paths. They scavenge for corpses while they are still relatively fresh, though only often find small chunks of meat that never fill them up. When a large corpse is found with enough meat to sustain them, the giant bulb on the top of their head lights up. This light is used to repel flies and other insects that are attracted to the smell of rotting flesh as well as alert family members of the find. Very few nocturnal predators are able to withstand the light due to the sensitivity of their night vision.

Information: This insect is considered the bane of gardeners. Its diet is exclusively leafy greens and wild flowers, making any vegetable or flower garden an all-you-can-eat buffet for this creature. Several residential areas have tried to repel the bug using various methods such as sonic frequencies and chemical pesticides, but the creature appears to be quick to adapt to the demands of the environment.

Outside of urban and suburban areas, this creature is often seen in fertile areas where flora can grow without the influence of outside factors. Said areas are becoming few and far between due to urbanization efforts by the planet’s dominating race.

Nueay

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Medium
Information: A very rare creature with a very interesting story.

In the ancient time of the planet this creature can be sighted on, there was an epic battle between the various dragons. The victor would be in charge of guiding life on the planet. Naturally, the other dragons thought they were the best qualified for the position and did all in their power to secure their spot in the winner’s circle. In an ironic twist of events, none of the dragons actually survived to become the planet’s rulers. They were all battle scared to the point of being incapable of properly fulfilling their duties.

This particular dragon was the first to lose in the war by having its wings ripped off. A dragon without wings doesn’t have much of an advantage over those that can fly and escape quickly by air, so it held itself in a cave while it waited for the dust to settle. The story goes that it fell asleep during the later half of the war and has only recently woke up. It searches the planet to find out who won the war questioning the decedents its injured brethren who have evolved to take the shape of winged snakes and sea serpents. However, the battle was so long ago that these creatures are said to have forgotten the true result of the battle.

Danger Level: Low
Social Ability: Medium
Information: The smaller pair of arms are connected to its rib cage. Autopsies of corpses document that its sternum has several extra bones that have evolved muscular tissue around them. Over time, these bones clearly became another pair of arms.

Another interesting element about this creature’s rig cage is that it is composed of entirely of fixed bone mass. This means that it is constructed similar to that of any skeletal creature’s skull. The implications as far as breathing and space for the heart to beat have yet to be determine, though it would appear to function just fine despite the lack of space and flexibility of the bones.

Pyrarari

Diet: Omnivore
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Low
Information: Its physical appearance is similar to that of the Earth cassowary, but it has a decent wing span that enables it to fly short distances. If it launches itself from a tall cliff face, it can glide for several hundreds of miles at a time.

Incidentally, this creature is often found at the edge of volcanoes. Local tribal legends suggest that this creature may actually be a resident of the volcanoes it is found in. The brightly colored legs match the color of magma, and its feathers are the same gray color of the smoke emitted during dormancy. It is believed that this coloring is due to the fact that it nests in the lava of the volcano. To come across one is believed to be a warning that the volcano is about to erupt. The legends suggest that the area of damage caused by the volcano’s eruption is based on how deep into the forest this creature is found. If one wonders into a village, its residents immediately evacuate out of fear. They traditionally follow this creature until it stops to hunt. From this position, the tribe will continue to move several hundred miles in an effort to re-establish their village at a safer distance.

These myths have been proven false, with the exception of the detection of when volcanic eruptions will occur. The large tail feathers of this creature are actually a highly-sensitive system of atmosphere readers that constantly check on various conditions such as heat and air pressure. Subtle changes in any atmospheric condition often result in this creature fleeing the scene in the name of safety.

Nylodrairnup

Diet: Herbivore
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Low
Information: This fleshy creature is so large that walking in any direction requires extreme concentration on its part. It is the largest herbivore we have on record as of date and has no natural predators because of its size. The lower half of it has evolved some interesting naturally forming armor to protect itself against anything foolish enough to attack this colossal beast.

However, when one of these creatures dies, every carnivore and omnivore within 50 miles of its corpse immediately rushes to grab a bite. Its flesh is able to fill the bellies of several different varieties of wildlife, while its bones are often used as primitive tools by sentient tribes. Unclaimed corpses end up forming beautiful mounds of wildflowers and grassy hills as the planet reclaims the giant.

Reydan

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Medium
Information: An aggressive insect that knows when it’s had too much to eat. It kills its prey by impaling it on its tail and letting it bleed to death. What it cannot eat is then carried to its next destination or its home nest on its tail.

The unfortunate thing is that this action attracts the attention of several other predators and scavengers looking for a quick bite to eat. Long trips are often littered with battles over leftovers.

Anchorhead

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: High (Predator, Pack x3)
Social Ability: Low
Information: Though technically a large insect, this crab-like creature is often seen buried in sandy beaches waiting for prey to wonder within striking distance. When push comes to shove, it will rely on pack members to help corner difficult prey. It has a venomous bite with a toxicity level that is off the charts! A single drop no bigger than that of the tip of a needle is believed to be enough to instantly kill an Earthling.

It’s main weakness is water. The chemical combination that makes it exoskeleton readily dissolves in salt and rain water. It’s unclear if fresh water will have the same effect as there is none found on its home planet. Burying itself in the sand is the only way to protect it from the elements, as it acts like a buffer by absorbing the water.

Mardas

Diet: Herbivore
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Medium
Information: This sharp-clawed albino rodent is blind due to its nocturnal habits. In an attempt to compensate for this condition, it has developed three highly-sensitive ears. The operative word is attempt. For some reason, this creature lacks echolocation abilities. It can pick up the exact location of the sound of a twig snapping but appears incapable of mapping an area in its mind. As a result, it is constantly injuring itself by running into objects or risking its life wondering onto game trails of stealthier predators.

To insure its survival, this creature only comes out of hiding during new moon nights when it is darkest on its home planet. During this time, most creature with sight will seek the safety of their home nests or den. It is unclear as to why only creatures that have the ability of sight do this, but all the better for this creature.

Diet: Omnivore
Danger Level: Medium

Information: A squeezable and soft walrus creature with fish-like fins. It uses these fins to filter out plankton and blast throw swift currents. Larger adults are said to be able to change the directions of some water currents simply by swimming through them at a different angle. Their main diet consists of fish, but they have been known to snack on the occasional shrimp once every two weeks.

While it is not recommended to seek these creatures as pets, they seem to do well in domestic situations if food supplies are plentiful. Certain individuals have displayed symptoms of claustrophobia, but the percentage of reports is so low that it is not attributed as a characteristic to the species.

Information: This creature has a very interesting hunting tactic. It has evolved to look like an herbivore and uses it to their advantage. It will wonder into a game trail and act like it is eating grass and other flora in order to cause its prey to lower their guard. When the time is right, it will strike.

Other predators and carnivores are able to distinguish this creature from the other herbivores that it mimics, which leads to the hypothesis that predators on its home planet are actually very intelligent for wild animals.

With that out of the way, let’s talk about this creature.

Despite its creepy and ferocious appearance, it’s a relatively weak creature. And yet, despite its feeble status, the horns and spikes on its body is the strongest part of its body. Tribal cultures will kill this creature in mass in order to make sharp tools like spear heads and knives. The rest of the body is used as clothing and food.

Coatl

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Medium
Information: Part bird, part snake, this creature is often found in jungles near large bodies of water. It’s unclear if the diet of this creature is based around the creatures that use the water as a source of life-giving nutrition. It is often seen chasing prey to or from these bodies of water, most of which either are afraid of the water for one reason or another or simply cannot thrive very well in wet conditions. This creature itself tries to avoid going into the water due to it being the home of its only natural predator.

The most unique quality of this creature is the fact that its diet is made up exclusively of newborn creatures. It simply refuses to hunt adult members of its prey for reasons not yet determine. It is hypothesized that the young are probably easier to catch, but separating it from its parents appears to be the only challenge. Most of the time, an individual will produce a cry that sounds like a thunder-clap to scare its prey. For creatures that are a little bit trickier, a surprise charge into the area will cause some scattering.

A local tribe uses the skulls of these creatures in their marriage rituals, often worn by the person whom the role of raising the family is to fall upon. It is believed that the spirit of this creature will protect the off spring of the coupling, which is very ironic given its natural diet.

Ohmaigawdwhadaphudje

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Low
Information: This creature’s name is better written as OMGWTF. A crud internet acronym, but given how long its name is, very fitting. It is not the natural predator of the Outlaw Wolf, but the two clearly don’t get along despite sharing the same planet.

This creature is said to resemble a pull-over winter hat, but only when it is asleep and its wings are relaxed. During its waking life, it looks more like a flying shark with a scorpion tail.

It is a vicious creature that will not hesitate to attack anything that comes into its territory. It tends to live in high, rocky mountains where there are no trees for shade. Deep caves are used as sanctuaries and traps for ill-fated wonderers. It’s nocturnal, but has been known to do some of its hunting during extremely stormy days when the cloud cover is dark enough to give the illusion of night.

The report doesn’t indicate how it raises its young, as the larger members of the family are always at the mouth of the caves ready to attack even a stray insect. This is probably out of fear, and to be honest, I can’t blame the guy.

Outlaw Wolf

Diet: Carnivore
Danger Level: Medium (Pack x3 - x8)
Social Ability: Medium
Information: This creature and the following entry are from a small planet where conditions are right for inanimate objects to become animated. Our reports, which are very new, do not indicate that these creatures are from the same planet as the Furry reported earlier, but I personally believe they may be and that information just got lost in the shuffle.

In any event, this creature, believe it or not, appears to have been a fur-lined coat that took the shape of a wolf. Its spine and legs exhibit zipper-like markings that would suggest pockets, though it is unclear what its skull was originally. The report suggests that it could have been the hood of the coat, drawing that from the fact that the neck of the creature is similar in design to a winter wilderness coat. That doesn’t explain where the claws come from in what can only be assumed to be the sleeves of the coat.

This creature is very territorial. A pack of these will often mark their territory several times a day to ensure no trespassers. Any thing found wondering into their home is immediately attacked, often in a very strategic fashion. Should push come to shove, the older and more experienced members of the pack will come to aid the front line defenses. And if that’s not enough, the alpha will come in and pretty much dismember the offenders. From what we were able to gather, the alpha is female and huge.

It fears only one creature. The other creature that shares its planet.

Information: Autopsy reports show that this creature has no internal organs. Or blood. The inners are all made out of what we have been able to determine as cotton. However, the hide of this creature is that of any normal mammal on our planet. The exception going to the eyes, which seem to have the same chemical make up as synthetic plastic.

So, literally, by all accounts and logical explanation we can come up with, this creature is a living, breathing stuffed doll.

Clotster

Diet: Omnivore
Danger Level: Low
Social Ability: Low
Information: This crab-like creature developed an exoskeleton over its legs, leaving the bulk of its body skinless. The red coloring is oxygen-rich blood and exposed muscle. However, with the exception of the brain and digestive system, none of its internal organs are housed in it. Instead, this creature has developed several pairs of organs found in each of its legs. Its mid-legs house a pair of hearts near the base, while its four lungs are kept in the forward legs. A loss of one leg will cripple this creature, but taking out a pair of legs will kill it. Most predators of this creature don’t bother with the legs, since a well-placed body blow can kill this creature in a single hit anyways.

~Zeek Slider

Prong Biter

Diet: Carnivore (Predator)
Danger Level: Medium
Social Ability: Low
Information: The simpler stage of this creature appears to be the most commonly found, but their behavior is generally the same. As a predator, it will impale small prey on its horns and bleed them to death. From there, it seemingly juggles the body in order to suspend it from its horns for it to consume, similar to eating steak off of a fork in some respect. As the chunks of meat begin to get smaller and smaller, the creature will let the body drop to the ground and discard it for scavengers to fight over.

The larger, more evolved version of this creature exhibits this but with a more aggressive tone. If a kill is stolen from another, the two will often fight with each other in effort to impale and then run off with the meal. It’s rare for an opponent to make off with more than half of the prey’s body, and battles tend to last only half an hour at most.

Unique to the larger versions is the presence of venom in the bite. It’s unclear why they even have venom, as their horns are their primary weapon of choice. However, observations have shown any leftover meat from these creatures are not eaten by scavengers. The females will often pile their leftovers during child rearing, unlike the males who just throw then about. It is hypothesized that the venom is more of a defensive ability than an offensive one, if only for the females. Why males have equally potent venom is still unknown.
