Information: This building is commonly seen on extreme Zealot colonies and home worlds. It is used for only one thing: erasing history. Documents and artifacts go in, but nothing comes out but a bunch of smoke and ash. On rare occasions, it is reported that actual living creatures will be brought into the building to be cremated. These creatures, however, are mostly ones with some kind of virus that could cause a biosphere collapse.
No reports of sentient beings being brought into this place other than the workers who transport the items into the building, but it wouldn't surprise me if a few of the races that build this or similar buildings with this same function did, in fact, bring "non-believers" in as a form of religious genocide.
