Observation: This alien primate has a pair of hammers instead of hands. It is reported that it does have a few functioning fingers, but it is also hypothesized that they will be rendered useless by evolution and may disappear within the next several hundred-thousand years of this creature’s history. It uses these hammers to pound and smash its food, both meat and vegetable, into a gooey mash that it slurps up.
The hammers are also not its only weapon. The large bone plate on its head is often used when head-butting prey or a tree in order to encourage fruit to drop. Its tail is also equipped with quills that it can launch at will.
During mating season, the air is filled with their songs that call for a mate. The louder the volume, the closer the creature is when it is performing. Mates are found when a song is able to fill the blank spots that occur when one takes a breath. While it doesn’t necessarily have to be melodic in tone, it does have to be perfectly in sync in rhythm.
