Observation: This bird-bug is a domesticated creature used as a food source for the rich and powerful. The cost of even the smallest cut of meat from this creature is reported to be equal to cost of raw materials used to construct all the military equipment currently on our planet. Those lucky enough to even taste its meat testify that there is nothing like it in the universe.
Fortunately, the person reporting on this creature was able to taste a cut. It is served raw, but can be cooked to enhance the flavors as well as change the effects of other ingredients that are cooked along side. It is described as being extremely tender with a sweet tasting texture to the meat. The closest thing on Earth that tastes similar is honey, but it is reported that the meat tastes slightly sweeter than that.
I had to report this after lunch. Now I’m hungry again!
