In the last file I published, I noticed that the observer had a freezer with her. I talked to my supervisor after my lunch about this.
It was explained to me that, due to the nature of the mission I'll be sent on, they will give me a cache of food that will last me long enough to figure out what of the natural vegetation is safe for human consumption. Once I figured that out, I am suppose to live off of that until I am to return home.
The way he said "until you return home" didn't sit well with me. He said it rather softly. Almost as to hide the potential reality that I may end up not returning. Hopefully, I'm just reading too much into it.
