Observation: A scavenger that will often not be found in an area unless something has been rotting for a few dates. It is attracted to the smell of rotting fruit or meat.
They have no natural predators due to the fact that they look like living mushrooms when they move. Even herbivores are afraid to come near one that is sleeping, probably due to the rotting smell that l attaches itself to this creature.
They travel in large groups and will often live in these colonies until they catch the scent of something else rotting nearby. They only divide into smaller groups if there are several things rotting in an area. This happens most commonly around game trails that are shared by several different predators.
They appear to produce no waste other than the bones they leave behind from the rotting corpse they were feasting on.
