Information: Believe it or not, there was a small group of scientists during the cloning effort in this country that secretly worked on a way to clone livestock in an effort to solve world hunger. It was going on while political representatives were trying to get the idea passed in Congress. As we all know, cloning animals for food is currently seen as an unethical practice due to unknown risks involved in the cloning process.

It was the hope of the project that legislation would pass and they could introduce this creature almost immediately. What ended up happening was that the project was scrapped and all the research burned. The genetic samples were taken out of cold storage and loaded up on a rocket ship filled with our indispensable garbage. The rocket didn’t make it out of our solar system and broke into several pieces somewhere between Jupiter’s and Saturn’s orbital paths. The genetic samples were able to hitch a ride on a comet and crash landed on a planet in a nearby galaxy to produce this creature.
