After getting a couple more hours of sleep, I woke up and found an e-mail from one of my friends in the tech labs. He said that there were some mysterious things happening in my work area, and like my boss said last night when he woke me up, I should stay at home. The e-mail also states that whatever is going on, it is definitely alien in origin.
He was kind enough to let me know that we have digital back-ups of my file that I can access from my Work@Home account. Provided I securely encrypt my Internet connection. I was given instructions on how to set it up, so I should be able to publish more information about the creatures we have on file soon.
I wish someone told me we had a digital back-up of these files. I can only wonder why we continue to do things with paper.
