Information: I got a call saying that I should come to the office to take a look at something. When I got there, I wasn’t expecting to find what I saw. My office, or lack there of, was destroyed in what can best be described as a firestorm of ripped paper and broken computer parts. The culprit behind this mess has been caught, exhibiting some rather unique and dangerous powers.

As you can see, it has a primate appearance, but it also has sharp fangs and sharper claws. When I saw it, the horns on its head were still wrapped with wires and cables it had bit through. It has a very aggressive nature and would periodically lunge at the 5-inch-thick bulletproof glass wall keeping it in its reinforced concrete cell. Witnesses to the chaos that happened yesterday claim it gorged itself on the Dust Bunnies we discovered, as well as several experimental plants in the biological department of our facility.

It was first sighted by a security guard who was responding to the sound of a steel door falling to the ground. He’s reportedly in stable condition but hasn’t said anything about the event. My supervisor was also in the building at this time, working late. Around the time he called me was when the real madness started to happen. Just before my friend left the message on my answering machine to get off the Work@Home network, it exhibited the ability to travel at incredible speeds through our Ethernet cables. That ability alone is causing a lot of the experts who are above me to question not only how it is possible but if it is safe to even come to work any more.

A special unit team has been examining my office for any clues as to how this creature first got entry into our facility and why it came in through my work area. They found a large area of twisted and melted metal, but no sign of a forced entry from the outside. Their best bet is that the creature warped time and space to teleport here. They also found an aqua feather.

I was asked if I saw anything similar to this feather. It did look familiar, so I pulled up the database and searched for creatures I’ve gone through with feathers. I found a match when I came across the first creature I reported on. Glitch. It’s possible that this creature probably threatened a Glitch, and in self defense, the little creature sent it as far away as possible.

A report has been filed and sent to our project’s manager who will review the situation and determine, first, if it is safe to come to work and, second, if we should continue the project.

I’ve expressed that should we continue with the project, I’m very unwilling to do a field study now. I explained to my supervisor that the number of files I’ve gone through suggest there may be several creatures out there that are just as dangerous as this creature. I expressed my suspicion that the reporting observers were probably killed by these unknown creatures.

We will see what happens. In the meantime, I am to continue publishing files on creatures and alien races we do have documented. The technology director has given me access to an off-site back-up database of the back-up database I was working on. Don’t ask, because I’m as confused as is it as to what I’m accessing. All I know is that it has all the files I was suppose to go over and then some.

I’ll continue reporting once I’ve come down from this horrible encounter.
