Observation: This large predator can kill small prey instantly with its powerful jaws. On larger creatures, it will use a paralyzing secretion found on its claws to slow its prey down. This can lead to several problems, as it has to physically touch the creature in order to be effective in paralyzing it. To alleviate this problem, it has adopted the tactic of jumping and grabbing large prey instead of trying to bite and inflict injury upon it.
