Observation: It is, essentially, a giant dog. It is roughly the size of a Great Dane, if not larger, but has the playful nature of a puppy or lap dog breed. Its bark is low and loud, but its howl is very soothing to the ears.
The tusks on either side of its giant snout are actually the canine fangs. The reason for its awkward growth is due to a very unique and alien anatomical feature. On the roof of the mouth is a second row of teeth, and hidden between a bisected tongue is a second smaller jaw! It is believed that this feature helps it consume certain foods that the larger jaws cannot break down. When using these inner jaws, its mouth doesn’t open. Its lower jaw moves as if it chewing, possibly because the second jaw cannot move on its own.
This creature is rarely found in the wild. It has long since been domesticated and is often bought as a pet.
