Observation: A nocturnal creature that is practically invisible to the naked eye when it is hunting. Its hands and feet are as hard as rock and capable of breaking bones with little effort. Its mouth has a false pallet where it houses a special paralyzing chemical mixture. This mixture is fired only on fleeing prey.

It was originally assumed that this creature’s leg configuration allowed it to spring board to great heights and provided a large walking gait. It was observed when the creature did move that its legs actually slow it down considerably. It does use this to some advantage in positioning itself above a prey without being heard or seen.

If it needs to hide for any reason, all it has to do is stand still. The darkness of the night causes it to disappear from sight.
