Observation: This creature dominates heavily forested areas and will often disguise itself as if it is a tree when sleeping or hunting. Should something walk underneath its matrix of legs, it will attack by lowering its head and biting the prey from above. Very few creatures see this coming, but those who are able to avoid the initial attack are quick to get away. If it goes too long without food, it will use specialized mouths on its feet to eat the grass it is standing on top of.
Because of how the legs are configured, this creature is very slow moving. It often has to walk around itself just to move anywhere with a great deal of conscious thought going into where the next foot will be placed and in what direction it wants to move in.
Family groups are not uncommon, but they are very rarely sighted due to the ability to blend with the surrounding flora. A giant creature like this being hard to spot is nothing short of amazing!
