Information: The name for this creature is derived from the fact that it is a very large single-cell organism. It is probably the largest on record, unless you count the Earth ostrich egg. It’s a coastal creature that favors a diet of microscopic plants and cellular creatures. In other words, it’s the Godzilla of the micro-universe.
