Rococo

Diet: Omnivore
Danger Level: 5
Social Ability: 10

Information:This bird is obsessed with trying to make itself look as beautiful as possible. It does this by constantly grooming its plumage. This obsession is extended to their nests where it will attempt to decorate it with berries, shiny rocks, and other detritus it has found. The more decorative their nest become, the happier it becomes.

Its decoration efforts only appeal to its own species. It’s hypothesized that the more decorative the home and the creature is, the more likely they will attract a harem of hens from which to choose to mate with. Competing males do not destroy the home of other males but learn from them. A male with a harem may have won them over because of a particular type of crystal was collected, which would cause competing males to seek out that same kind of crystal. Other creatures that live in the area will avoid a highly decorated nest, possibly out of fear that it could belong to a being of higher intelligence or because it is not a naturally occurring object in their eyes.
