Diet: Omnivore
Danger Level: 11
Social Ability: 6

Observation: This creature is named for its similarities in features to the Venus Fly Trap. It has three sets of jaws that fold around its prey or whatever it can find to eat. It has a pair of small eyes on two stalks found on the main head; the two mouths on the arms have no eyes.

While hunting for meat, it will move to the edge of a well-traveled path and stand motionless until something unsuspecting of it wonders into its striking range. It will then vomit a paralyzing chemical mixture all over its prey. Once immobilized, it then proceeds to eat the creature with its two smaller mouths. The large mouth on the head only eats if the creature is large enough for it to reach it when bent over. Depending on how plentiful a location is, it may stay in one location for up to a year or more feeding on anything foolish enough to get close to it.

The only time this creature moves is to find a new hunting spot or when it is ready to mate. Reproduction for this creature is somewhat unique. A group that is ready to mate will converge on a single spot that is shared by each of their territories. Once at that spot, they will start to shake tiny pollen spores into the air from their leaves and flowers. In the dust cloud, the genetic code between males and females are fused into the offspring, which can be found as yellow balls on the ground about the size of a single seed of wheat. This is actually an egg that will grow in size overnight and then produce the first mouth and the mono-foot of the creature after 24 hours. After 72 hours, the second and third mouths form, and the offspring gains a bit more mass to help it move.

The young have an interesting challenge. Because they do not move, they have to rely on another way to get food. It is during this time that most develop their paralyzing vomit by firing small bullets of the mixture at flies and other insects that it sees. A direct hit insures a meal, but a miss could result is temporarily paralyzing one of their brothers or sisters.
